Accessibility Statement

Mazaya wants this site to be usable by everyone, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard without a mouse, magnification, or a browser with its own colour and font settings.

This statement is made under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

What this statement covers

This website only — the pages published at https://havit-app.com/: the home page, the Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use and this statement, each in Arabic, Hebrew and English.

It does not cover the HAVIT customer, merchant or driver apps. Those have not been assessed for accessibility yet, and a statement about them will be published separately rather than implied by this one.

The standard we work to

WCAG 2.1 level AA, which is the standard Israeli Standard 5568 adopts.

What has been done

• Every page works without a mouse. You can reach every link with the Tab key, and a "Skip to content" link appears when you press Tab so you can jump past the menu.
• Focus is visible. Whatever has keyboard focus is ringed in orange, so you can always see where you are.
• Text contrast was measured, not estimated. Every text-and-background pair on the site is calculated against the WCAG formula, from the same colour sheet the apps use. The lowest normal-text pair is 4.80:1, against a threshold of 4.5:1, and the focus ring clears 3:1 on every background it can land on — including the orange pill, which is the one case the colour sheet's own derivation does not cover.
• The measurement re-runs. It is a script in the repository, not a note about a check somebody once did, and it fails the build rather than going quietly stale.
• Headings are real headings, in order, one main heading per page, so a screen reader can list them and jump between them.
• Tables have proper column headers, announced with each cell rather than read as a wall of text.
• Text can be enlarged. Zoom is not blocked, the base text is 16px, and the layout reflows down to a phone-width screen without sideways scrolling.
• The site is plain HTML. There is no JavaScript at all, nothing that moves on its own, nothing that flashes, no pop-ups, no carousels, and no timed content. There is nothing here that can steal or trap your keyboard focus.
• The page language and its direction are declared, so a screen reader pronounces the text correctly and Arabic and Hebrew read right-to-left. Every page links to its own translations, and the language buttons keep you on the page you were reading rather than sending you back to the home page.
• The logo is drawn, not photographed. The mark and the wordmark are inline vector graphics, hidden from screen readers because the word HAVIT is already beside them as real text — labelling them would make a reader announce the name twice. There are no photographs or other images anywhere on the site.

What is not accessible yet

Stated plainly, because a statement that lists only successes is not a statement:

• The Arabic and Hebrew texts are courtesy translations. They were not made by a certified translator, and for the two legal documents the English version is the one that governs where they differ. Every page says so at the top.
• No professional accessibility audit has been carried out. Everything above is assessed by us, by testing the published pages — it is a self-assessment, not a certification by a qualified accessibility consultant, and it covers only what can be checked mechanically.
• It has not been tested on a real screen reader. The pages are built to be read correctly by one, and that expectation has not yet been confirmed by running NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver against them.
• The apps are not covered, as stated above.

Physical premises

HAVIT is delivered to your door. We do not operate a shop, branch or office open to the public, so there are no premises to describe here.
